David Morowitz
David Morowitz is an experienced trial attorney admitted to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Florida. He is the sole proprietor of the Law Office of David Morowitz, Ltd. For the first ten years of his career, David worked as a prosecutor.

David grew up in New York City and attended public school in Flushing, Queens. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from C.C.N.Y. of the City University of New York in 1980. For four years David drove a taxi cab in New York City at night full-time to support himself and pay for law school.
From 1982 until 1984, David worked full-time as a trial assistant for the District Attorney's Office in Manhattan, New York while completing his law school education at night. He graduated from New York Law School in 1984.
David then became a state prosecutor in the Dade County (Miami, FL) office of the State Attorney.
David relocated to Rhode Island in 1988 and became a state prosecutor with the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office.
During his career as a prosecutor David never lost a murder or child sexual assualt trial.
After working as a prosecutor, David went to work for a large RI plaintiff personal injury/medical malpractice/litigation firm (Decof & Grimm) as a trial attorney in 1994. He then took a job as a trial attorney with another similar firm (Lang & Morgera) in Boston, MA in 1998. At both firms he was the lead attorney in jury verdicts in excess of $1,000,000.00.
